Photos from Kevin Tracy's Winter Hike in the Indiana Dunes with Porthos

Kevin's dog Porthos was scheduled for a hair cut and spa treatments in the late afternoon of February 6, 2017. So, what better time could there have been to grab Porthos' leash and take him on an adventure to the Indiana Dunes! Porthos helped to discover a hugely illegal burn pit where someone apparently just gutted a house and burned everything on a dune. Then, Porthos got to express his displeasure about the "No Sledding" rules at the Dunes and even got to walk on the ice (the ice was super thick and the water super thin below it... Porthos also only weighed 32 pounds, so it was safe).

The dynamic duo returned triumphantly from their adventure, having sniffed parts of the Indiana Dunes that had not been sniffed before! Included is a picture of Porthos after his haircut later that night.
