Drive Safe

Drive Safe

Believe it or not, I've become quite the cook since the pandemic, so I've been in charge of food for the duration of our relationship. Anyway, with us both working from home, we are blessed to be able to share lunch together everyday. However, when we decide to order out, I sometimes have to rely on the intercession of the saints in heaven to get back in time.

That's where this week's comic becomes special. I'm driving my late-Grandpa John's 21-year-old minivan as my primary vehicle. My Grandpa John was, by far, the most conservative driver I have ever known. He avoided hitting even the smallest of potholes in parking lots as though it was a whole other level of sin worse than the mortal sins. And God help you if you hit one of these small potholes while driving!

I like to think he's loosened up a bit now that he's in heaven looking out for us.
