The official website of the wise and benevolent Kevin Tracy, www.KTracy.com, is officially back and better than ever! This exciting new era of KTracy.com is meant to celebrate the glory days of the old website from before 2006 by bringing back old features with modern twists. Additionally, the new KTracy.com relies almost entirely on static pages; which will cause the overall page load times to decrease substantially. This will result in a vastly superior experience for visitors to KTracy.com.

The KTracy.com staff is working at a feverish pace to create new content for KTracy.com. However, what the team is most excited about is digitization of the immense collection held at The Kevin Tracy Museum of Art and Photography. Prior to now, this collection was private and only available to visitors (and unfortunately, sometimes raiders) at the KTracy.com Headquarters. Some of this content has not been seen on KTracy.com since 2005. Other content has never been publicly available. The staff has tens of thousands of photographs and art pieces to sort through, so this feature will be rolled out slowly.

Another exciting new feature coming soon is the KTracy.com Podcast. Kevin Tracy is anxious to start the podcasts, but the staff is still debating which platform they should use to publish the podcast, or if it should be hosted from the KTracy.com HQ servers; which more closely aligns with the goals of this redesign of KTracy.com.

On Monday, March 1st, Kevin Tracy had surprised his team with the first staff meeting in nearly 10 years. The topics were Search Engine Optimization (SEO), the deplatforming of conservatives, and revenue. The end result of this conversation resulted in the unanimous decision to erase the old KTracy.com and start again from scratch. The new site would draw inspiration from the design of the old KTracy.com, but be implemented in modern ways that didn't rely on tables for the layout.

Although WordPress and WooCommerce are still used to manage the online store, the rest of the website is statically generated, drastically improving load times and, as a result, SEO. Additionally, Kevin Tracy has been increasingly concerned about the rising trend of conservatives finding themselves deplatformed or shadow-banned on social media networks like Twitter and Facebook. In addition to the unethical breach of personal privacy we all agree to in order to use these platforms, Kevin Tracy and the staff felt it was important to break away from social media wherever possible. The staff determined it was unfair that content created on traditional social media platforms by users is monetized without a dime being sent back to the content creators. Therefore, all of this content will be exclusively added to KTracy.com moving forward.

By the end of the year, the staff at KTracy.com hopes to incorporate a few new features to the site as well, including the micropublishing abilities of IndieWeb, a staff section dedicated to the team at KTracy.com, and an Issues section showcasing the social and political positions advocated for by Kevin Tracy.
