OUCH! Sarah Palin Attacks Mike Huckabee on Clemency of Rapist and Murderer!

I could say that Sarah Palin has proven Mike Huckabee to be a better man, but that would kind of go without saying. Mike Huckabee hasn't been completely innocent when it comes to Sarah Palin, but most of his attacks towards her have been incredibly limited in their scope and have always carried the message that he was better, or at least more qualified and more deserving, than her.

In fact, a lot of people wouldn't even characterize his words as attacks.

But Sarah Palin went right for the jugular for Huckabee's recent Clemmons clemency scandal.

The following is from a radio interview that the former Governor of Alaska gave:

"It was a bad decision, obviously, but my heart goes out to Huckabee. I love him, and I feel bad for him to be in this position. But I feel even worse for the victims' families in this situation."

"It's absolutely tragic and just unfathomable what has happened there, and I do feel bad for Huckabee, but it was a horrible decision that he made."

"Most Alaskans know me well enough to know that I don't have a whole lot of mercy for the bad guys. I'm on the good guys' side. I'm all about redemption and recovery and reform and all that. But I will always error on the side of punishing even stricter, even harder on the bad guys."

POLL CLOSED
What's awesome is that she even started off this attack with "I Love Him." Seriously, I haven't been a huge fan of Sarah Palin up to now, but this verbal assault on Huckabee was wonderfully constructed. This is the first scrap of respect she's earned from me. Granted, she's almost guaranteed to do something incredibly stupid between now and the Primary to lose it again, but this is definitely a step in the right direction for Palin-KTracy.com relations.

Plus, I find myself dying to see a fight between the Palin and Huckabee fanatics and this is a step in the right direction for that as well.
