Office of the Representative
Representative Kevin Tracy

For Immediate Release
Date: 2001-07-02

REPRESENTATIVE TRACY: Good Evening, I mean morning, it just turned 0200.  My plans with Danny never fell though and I do still have plans.  I'm really feeling kind of tired, I know you are, too, so I'll make this quick if you promise not to make the questions to difficult.

*Chuckles in the room*

Ok, I am currently taking Phys. Ed. in summer school. Luckily they are giving me the day off.  Odds are I will wake up sore and take several pain relievers. Before 1300, I plan to come out of the house and find my way to the celebration at Dogwood.  I'll be taking questions at random there, no speeches planned. I want to get back to the studio before 1800, which I doubt will be a problem.  While back here, I will be looking for all the fireworks that survived our 224th Independence Day and my honors history presentations with Phil. If you want to see them that bad, I think we can arrange something.  Then between 1900 and 1930, Josh will be picking me up and we'll be headed to his house. I may also celebrate the night with Matt and Eddy and possibly other friends. I don't know when I'll get home but I will get these pictures online as soon as possible.

Q: Will Josh be put on your staff as well and what about Ed and Matt?

REPRESENTATIVE TRACY: I promised Josh I'd tell him the difference between the right and the wrong, or left.  Same difference. He is very unpolitical, unlike much of the staff and myself. I've known Josh since the middle of 8th grade and we still argue about our NASA moon survival answers.  If we can resolve his ignorance, something may be arranged down the road.  Eddy I've known since Freshman year and Matt since Sophomore year. I'm not too sure if they could find a place on my staff, but if there is a place they belong, I will ask them.  I've never brought up the idea of either of these two to the staff, though they do deserve a part.   All three have been active in both my campaigns and offer free advise to me, for which I'm grateful.

Q: What is Minister Rob doing?

REPRESENTATIVE TRACY: We plan on having a short chat this time tomorrow.  I believe he and his host family are having a picnic to celebrate.  He didn't say anything to me about fireworks, so we will save him some.  Not many but some.

*Chuckles in the room*

Q: Do you plan to talk with any other Staff Members tomorrow?

REPRESENTATIVE TRACY: I will most likely talk to my Minister of the Environment and good friend Carl to make sure we cause enough pollution and green house gases to save us from an Ice Age.  I may end up leaving the house before 1300 to meet with him and the Minister of Press Relations and friend since kindergarten, Greg. It will be more of a catching up on issues and the like than an actual meeting. That's if we meet.

Q: Why do you tend to meet with Greg and Carl more than other ministers?

REPRESENTATIVE TRACY: Well, as I am sure you know, the environment is one the things I am most concerned about.  Greg is there to make sure I don't come across as too liberal. Minister Danny was invited along with the rest of the staff, but no plans ever solidified.  Well, I'm tired ladies and gentlemen of the press, so I will go to sleep now, have a nice rest.
